e+Solutions (ePlus) recently collaborated with Po Leung Kuk to provide workplace experience opportunities for Form 5 student participating in the “Step Out Your Brightened Future” Life Planning Scheme (2022-2025). Through systematic practical training, the student gained firsthand experience in departmental operations, developing deeper insights into industry practices, career prospects, job requirements and entry qualifications—establishing a foundation for their future career planning.
The “Step Out Your Brightened Future” Life Planning Scheme (2022-2025), organized by Po Leung Kuk Life Planning & Financial Education Centre and funded by the “Funding Scheme for Youth Life Planning Activities”, focuses on four core objectives: “Self-Understanding,” “Expanding Horizons,” “Goal Setting,” and “Skill Enhancement.” The program addresses students’ developmental needs through diverse career planning workshops and experiential activities, including junior secondary self-exploration, Form 3 subject selection guidance, Form 6 further education counseling, industry visits, work experience and mock interviews.
Digital Marketing Workplace Experience
Through the program, intern CK completed a four-day workplace experience at ePlus as a digital marketing trainee, supporting daily departmental tasks including designing social media promotional graphics, social media copywriting and market research. As this was CK’s first workplace experience, ePlus shared relevant professional skills, allowing her to progressively explore digital marketing work while learning fundamental concepts.
Outcomes and Feedback of the Workplace Experience
In just four days, CK demonstrated exceptional adaptability. Facing new work areas, she quickly grasped key concepts and proactively discussed challenges with team members to optimize results.
Although CK initially had more interest in science and engineering with limited marketing knowledge, this workplace experience revealed the engaging aspects of digital marketing work, particularly creative design. She also appreciated the professionalism and challenges involved in analytical market research. Upon completing the program, CK expressed gaining deeper insights into modern logistics, enhanced self-awareness of her abilities, and an understanding of the importance of workplace communication skills.
ePlus will continue upholding the development philosophy of “Inheritance and Innovation” by actively promoting collaborative exchanges with educational institutions and organizations. By providing diverse corporate activities, ePlus helps young people explore their potential, plan future development paths, and deepen their understanding of the logistics industry—cultivating next-generation talent and injecting innovative thinking and momentum into the industry.
