e+Solutions (ePlus) , a subsidiary of U-Freight Logistics Group (UFL), recently participated in a Climate Fresk workshop organized in collaboration with the international climate education organization Climate Fresk. Through an engaging interactive card game, colleagues from various departments explored the causes and consequences of climate change while reflecting on human activities’ impact on nature.
During the workshop, participants were divided into two groups and given sets of cards to arrange in sequence, gradually understanding the cause-and-effect relationships behind climate change. As facilitators introduced more cards, the complexity increased, allowing participants to deeply examine the urgency of climate change issues. Upon completing the climate puzzle, participants recognized the significant impact of human activities on environmental degradation, climate patterns and biological cycles, leading to extreme weather events, disease outbreaks, and ecosystem imbalances that threaten human health and living environments. The workshop effectively demonstrated how climate change interconnects with various environmental challenges, emphasizing the need for immediate action to address these pressing climate change concerns.
This science-based workshop provided an engaging learning experience through group discussions, raising environmental awareness while fostering critical thinking and collective responsibility for environmental sustainability. Importantly, it harnessed collective wisdom to explore low-carbon practices at both individual and corporate levels. UFL Group actively implements various ESG initiatives, including launching “52-Week Green Tasks,” reducing office waste bins, and installing recycling stations. Meanwhile, ePlus contributes through using FSC-certified carton boxes and implementing LED lighting in warehouses, reducing emissions from the source.
