The UFL Group welcomed a group of students studying for a Higher Diploma in Aviation and Logistics at the Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education to its flagship e+Solutions (ePlus) eCommerce logistics centre in Kwai Chung. The students obtained practical experience of how e+Solutions is embracing innovative technology and adapting business models to optimise warehouse operations and is deploying warehouse automation, with a particular focus on the invaluable role played by Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) in daily operations.

The students witnessed first hand how automation and AMRs underpin e+ Solutions services, which were established five years ago and offer a comprehensive e-commerce logistics package: from dedicated storage space for the entrepreneurs’ products, to order processing and fulfilment services, including final delivery to customers.
UFL Group CEO said: “By welcoming the group of students to our logistics centre we were offering them a captivating glimpse into the world of eCommerce logistics by showcasing our advanced warehouse technology and equipping them with a comprehensive understanding of the industry’s day-to-day operations.

“It also gave them the opportunity to explore the vast array of potential internship and career opportunities within the ever-evolving field of eCommerce logistics; including the UFL Group’s own internship programme.
“I think they got a better understanding of how the practical application of the cutting-edge warehouse technologies we employ, including AMRs and other devices, are playing a pivotal role in optimising warehouse efficiency from inventory management to order fulfillment, delivering tangible benefits along the way.”
